Middle School Literacy Teacher Email Phone: 608-654-5131, extension 204
My name is Lizzie Dickman and I have the pleasure of teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade literacy at Cashton Middle School. Outside of the classroom, I have co-directed plays, musicals and show choirs at Cashton Middle High. As of the 2021-2022 school year, I will also be co-advising the middle school student council.
I grew up in Stoughton, Wisconsin where my parents, two older brothers and I lived on a small hobby farm. I moved to La Crosse in 2014 to attend the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, where I majored in Middle Childhood-Early Adolescent Education with a minor in English Education. I graduated in January of 2019 after student teaching at Cashton Middle School.
In 2016, I moved to Cashton to live with my husband, Derek Dickman, who was born and raised here. Prior to moving to Cashton, I described Stoughton (despite a population of 14,000 people) as a “small town outside of Madison” and I was convinced from a young age that I would live in an urban area. However, I have since fallen in love with this supportive community and the traditions that come along with it. In my free time, I love to travel with my husband, listen to live music, read, visit coffee shops and spend time with our friends and family.
