p>I am originally from Viola, WI and graduated from Kickapoo in 2002. I attended UW-Eau Claire and earned my bachelor’s (2006) and master’s (2008) degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I regularly attend professional development in the areas of speech language therapy and am especially interested in the areas of articulation and vocabulary development. Throughout the 2015-2016 school year, I completed CTELL (Connecting Teachers to English Language Learners) courses. I have lived and worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Eau Claire and Onalaska before moving closer to home. I now live in Westby with my husband Brian, and our 2 children. I began working as the Speech Language Pathologist in the Cashton School District in the 2012-2013 school year, after working four years in the hospital and early intervention settings. I truly enjoy helping students find functional ways to communicate and have special interests in the areas of articulation and vocabulary development. I am lucky enough to work with students from three years old all the way up through high school age. I love to keep learning and currently facilitate the SLP Networking Group at CESA 4 as well as serve on the Lead SLP statewide committee.
