Title I Services at Cashton Elementary School
Cashton Elementary School has a school-wide Title I program. This means that funds can be directed toward overall school improvement. At Cashton Elementary School we service Title I students and students with disabilities through multilevel systems of support. Each grade level has access to programming provided through Title I and special education.
Programming provides varying types of supports at differing levels of intensity to proactively and responsively adjust to the needs of the student. Teachers provide additional practice for grade level skills in small group. Title I and special education teachers also provide targeted small group and one-on-one instruction of foundational and remedial skills.
Title I Services at Cashton Middle School
Cashton Middle School has a targeted assistance Title I program. This means that services are provided to a select group of students; those identified as failing or most at risk of failing to meet content and student performance standards set forth by state curricular requirements.
At Cashton Middle School Title I students receive varying academic supports. A team teaching approach has been implemented in the middle school math. This allows the classroom teacher and Title I teacher to collaboratively work with students to help address their needs.
All Title I students receive additional instruction through a small group study hall. Additional instructional time is provided to those students identified as highest need.
