Guidance Counselor
Cashton School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time Guidance Counselor beginning at the start of the 2021-2022 school year who will serve as the Academic and Career Counselor with a primary focus on academic planning and post-secondary success. This is an expansion position that seeks to supplement effective services currently in place.
Primary responsibilities include:
Academic planning and scheduling for all MS/HS students including meeting with all 6-12 students individually and approving course selections.
Early College Credit Program and Start College Now promotion and management
Support for all students with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Maintain data on post graduation plans and outcomes for all students.
Manage and implement Youth Apprenticeship Program
Manage and implement student internships
Cultivate relationships with local businesses to place students in mutually beneficial training programs
Support the scholarship coordinator and assist in matching students with scholarship opportunities relevant to their post-secondary plans
Plan and implement supports for students at risk of academic failure
Assist students with post-secondary admission procedures including testing and application requirements.
Conduct annual credit audits to ensure all high school students remain credit-eligible for graduation
Manage and implement post-graduation surveys
Assist the District Assessment Coordinator with state assessments
Arrange and lead college visits for interested students.
Manage Current and Future Scheduling modules in Skyward
Other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator

Middle School Intervention - Title I Teacher
Cashton School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time Middle School Intervention teaching position beginning at the start of the 2021-2022 school year. This position supports collaborative literacy instruction for students in grades 6-8 using a Professional Learning Communities (PLC) approach. The ideal candidate, in partnership with two literacy teachers and a special education teacher will collectively determine and deliver effective instructional and assessment strategies to support high levels of learning for all students based on their needs.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Wisconsin teaching certification enabling the holder to lead middle school English classes
2. Wisconsin teaching certification enabling the holder to lead middle school Reading classes (1316) or a willingness to pursue licensure within three years
3. Enthusiasm for supporting middle school students in a collaborative environment
4. A strong understanding of research-based practices, individualized instruction, professional learning communities, and classroom management.
5. The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

High School Special Education Teacher
Cashton School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time special education teaching position beginning at the start of the 2021-2022 school year with a primary focus on high school students. This teacher will support the instructional needs of students in an inclusive, collaborative environment through modifying, designing, and implementing core instruction as part of a teaching team, and also by providing individual and small group intensive academic instruction for identified students. Responsibilities include evaluation of referred students, developing and writing Individual Education Programs and delivering appropriate and aligned instruction and necessary supports for students with increased academic, social, physical, or emotional needs. The ideal individual hired for this position must have strong leadership, organizational, and literacy-based instructional skills. Teachers holding a license in an alternate area who are willing to earn a cross categorical license within three years are also encouraged to apply.

K-12 General Music and Choir Teacher
Cashton School District is currently accepting applications starting the 2021-2022 school year for a full-time teacher to lead the high school and middle school choirs in addition to teaching general music in 5K-grade 4. CO-CURRICULAR POSITIONS:
Cashton School District is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Varsity Track Coach. This coach assists with practices and track meets under the supervision of the head coach.
