p>I grew up in West Bend, WI and after graduating from West Bend East High I attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Education and I am certified to teach general and special education for first through eighth grades. Throughout the 2014-2016 school years, I completed courses through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for my Early Childhood Special Education certification. I began my teaching career in 2008 as a cross-categorical special education teacher at Coon Valley Elementary. From that position, I transitioned to be a classroom teacher in a 2nd/3rd grade multiage classroom. I also coached middle school basketball and volleyball for the Westby School district. After my experience there, I started my career at Cashton Elementary in 2014 as a Kindergarten and First grade Special Education Teacher. I am actively involved in the implementation of PBIS and One School, One Book. I look forward to many positive years in the Cashton School District.
