4K and Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Email Phone: 608-654-7377, extension 363 I was born and raised in beautiful La Crosse, WI with my parents and big brother. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Soon, after graduation in May 2013 I began working in the Cashton School District. To begin my extraordinary career I was given the opportunity to teach special education to students in kindergarten and 1st grade. I enjoyed my experience with this position however, in 2014 I moved my teaching passion into the 4K and Early Childhood Special Education area. I have been thrilled with this decision and enjoy teaching my young learners everyday. As a teacher I enjoy learning and furthering my education to better serve students. In 2013 I began a new journey by enrolling in Viterbo University, where I am currently working towards earning my 316 reading license. This license allows me to serve students of all ages and abilities in the area of reading. After completion of this license I plan to obtain my Master’s Degree in Education. I have also been working to complete my CTELL (Connecting Teachers to English Language Learners) coursework, where I can better educate all students and welcome diversity into our classroom of learners. Cashton is not just a place I work, the community is so welcoming and caring and I cannot imagine where I would be without the love and support of this incredible district.
