Grade 4 Teacher Email Phone: 608-654-7377, EXT 338 Website I grew up in Holmen, WI where I attended school K-12. My family hails from the La Crosse and Cashton area. I have an extended family with homes in Florida, Montana, Colorado, Texas, and Minnesota. I have a one son who attends Viterbo University and lives locally. I attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse where I obtained an Elementary and Middle School certification for grades 1-8 with a minor in Special Education. I continue to take classes, attend workshops and educational conventions to enhance my repertoire of teaching skills. I first joined Cashton Elementary in the fall of 1998 when I was hired as an intern ½ multiage teacher with Beth Lee. I formally joined the staff in the fall of 1999 as Intermediate Title 1 teacher. I have been blessed to have had many opportunities while teaching in Cashton. I’ve been a 3rd grade teacher, Tech Integrator, Looping teacher, and currently teaching fourth grade. I have been involved in a variety of activities such as teaching CCLC, summer school, and participating in a variety of school committees. I have been actively involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Grant projects. I am active with the Wisconsin Title 1 Association where I am the current co-president along with Alissa Sanders. I am blessed to work in community that values and supports their students. In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting, watching sporting events and movies. I have a part time job where I work with adults with disabilities for the last 10 years. I also enjoy creating interactive resources for my students and create projects digitally.
