Alissa Sanders

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education degree with minors in history and psychology from Michigan State University. I then went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Special Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  In 2011, I earned my National Board Certification in the area of Literacy.

I  joined Cashton Public Schools in 2003 as an elementary special education teacher.  In 2014, I began teaching in my current 5th grade position .  Along with my work in the classroom, I am also involved in the community as co-coordinator of the Cashton Youth Girls Basketball Program and recently started teaching fitness classes in the Cashton Cardio Lab.  I am the current Past President for the Wisconsin Title I Association.  

My family and I reside in Cashton and enjoy the wonderful aspects of small town life with great schools and great people!
