I graduated from Brookwood High School and earned a double major in Mathematics Education and Spanish Education from Viterbo University in 2007. I began teaching at Brookwood in 2009 while working toward additional licensure in English as a Second Language and Bilingual/Bicultural Education through UW-Platteville.
Over my 16 years at Brookwood, I taught a wide range of courses—from Algebra to Statistics in the Math Department, various English for Multilingual Learners classes, and 7th and 8th grade Spanish. I also continued my own education, completing a Master’s in Education through Viterbo in 2017, a Specialist Program in Teaching and Curriculum through Northcentral University in 2020, and a Graduate Mathematics Certificate from the University of North Alabama in 2025. I am currently working toward administrative licensure through Viterbo, which I expect to complete in the spring of 2026.
My family and I live just outside of Sparta. Our four children are actively involved in school activities, so much of our free time is spent at athletic events (soccer, football, tennis, and volleyball) or music events (marching band, show choir, and jazz band).
I’m excited to bring my experience and energy to the Cashton team and look forward to a great school year!
