I am originally from Hazel Green, Wisconsin, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, in 2000. During my graduate studies, I completed my reading license and master's degree through the MEPD program at UW–La Crosse. Most recently, I earned my Reading Specialist certification from Viterbo University in 2024.
My husband, John, and I moved to the Cashton area in 2006. We now live just outside of town with our four children and our dog, Pepper. I began teaching four-year-old kindergarten in the Cashton School District from 2006 to 2011, then took time off to stay home with our young children. I was thrilled to return to the district in 2016.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, runs, and bike rides, traveling, gardening, and connecting with extended family.
