Hello, my name is Julia Wiltinger. I am proud to be a part of the team in the Cashton School District as the Middle School Title 1 Interventionist. I will be working with both the teachers and the students in the middle school. A lot of my time will be spent working with kids in math, literacy, and in study halls. After the school day during the fall, I coach the middle school volleyball team.
I grew up in Genoa, Wisconsin not too far from Cashton. I have always lived in the country and love the small-town environment. I completed my bachelor's degree for Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence Education with a minor in Special Education in December 2020. I completed my student teaching at Cashton in the spring of 2020 and at Viroqua in the fall of 2020. After graduating, I spent the spring semester doing some long and short term substitute teaching in Cashton, Viroqua, and West Salem. During my first year teaching in Cashton, I began my master's degree program to get my Reading Teacher License and Reading Specialist License, which I completed in the Spring of 2023.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time outside, in the gym, running, and anywhere with my family and friends. I look forward to sharing my love of learning with all of the students I work with at Cashton and being a positive role model in their lives. I am proud to be a Cashton Eagle!
