I am a 1987 graduate from Cashton High School. My wife and I live on St. Mary’s Ridge with our three daughters. In 1991, I received my bachelor's of science degree in Recreational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I worked for the United States Forest Service as a wilderness ranger, trail crew member, and firefighter in Steamboat Springs, Colorado until 1995. I have been able to travel extensively including a mountaineering trip to the Himalaya mountains in India. After returning to Cashton, I returned to UW-L, where I earned my license to teach grades 1-9 with a science minor. At Cashton, I have taught seventh and eighth grade science and sixth grade math and science. I am currently the district online coordinator, the intervention specialist, and a 9th grade science teacher. I have coached basketball at both the middle school and high school levels and assist when needed as a bus driver.
