Information to help seniors (students) transition to college.

Ideas about what kinds of questions to ask on a campus tour.

Here is another resource to help you find your college fit.

Track which colleges and scholarships you’ve applied to.

Essay Writing

Some college applications have essay prompts that require you to respond by writing about your own experiences. This is your time to shine! Remember, the admissions committee wants to know YOU and what strengths, perspectives, and ambitions you bring to their school. Share as much as you are comfortable.

You will also want to save every piece of writing you create for the college application process. The chances that you will use all or pieces of something you have written again (like responding to a scholarship essay prompt) are GREAT! Don’t reinvent the wheel with every essay! You may also want to create a College Essay folder on your Google Drive so that you save and can easily find the essays you have written.
