PUPIL NON DISCRIMINATION SELF-EVALUATION
The School District of Cashton is committed to equal educational opportunity for all students in the District. It is the policy of the Cashton School District, pursuant to State law and regulations, that no person, on the basis of sex, race, national origin, religion, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, homeless status, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability, may be denied admission to any school in this district or be denied participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extracurricular, pupil services, recreational, food service program, or other program.
The school district is in the process of completing its five-year pupil nondiscrimination self-evaluation. The school district will focus on three elements for the self-evaluation:
- The methods, practices, curriculum and materials used in counseling.
- The trends and patterns in awarding scholarships and other form of recognition and achievement provided or administers by the district.
- Participation trends and patters and school district support of athletic and extracurricular activities.
If you are interested in participating in the final review of the self-evaluation. Please contact David Bell at 608-654-5131 e. 401 for more information.
